Slow fashion is an approach to clothing that values quality, craftsmanship and longevity over mass production. At Princess & The Cake, we create timeless pieces in small batches, using traditional hand embroidery and thoughtful production methods that honour both people and the planet.

Because clothing should tell a story. We believe in creating heirloom-quality pieces that are made to be cherished, worn and passed down—not discarded after a season. Every Princess & The Cake garment is designed with care, intention and longevity in mind.

Our garments are hand embroidered by skilled craftswomen in South Punjab, Pakistan. Each piece represents countless hours of meticulous workmanship, preserving traditional techniques while supporting artisan communities and their craft.

Yes. We produce in small batches, which means every collection is intentionally limited. Many designs are never repeated, making each piece feel special and unique.

We don’t follow fast-fashion calendars. New collections are released when they are ready—after careful design, sourcing and craftsmanship. Follow us on Instagram and Facebook to be the first to hear about upcoming launches.

Because our collections are produced in limited quantities, many styles are not restocked once they sell out. Occasionally, a particularly popular design may return in a future collection. The best way to stay informed is through our social media channels and newsletter.

Orders can be placed directly through our website. For selected launches, we may also offer pre- orders, allowing you to reserve a piece before it sells out.

We currently accept:

• Cash on Delivery (COD)
• Online Bank Transfers

If an item becomes unavailable after an order has been placed, we will notify you promptly and ensure you are not charged for that item.

Yes. We ship worldwide through DHL, including the United Kingdom, Europe, the United States, the Middle East and many other destinations.

Orders are typically processed within 24 hours of being placed.

Local Orders Within Pakistan

Delivery generally takes 5–7 working days from the date of processing.

International Orders Outside of Pakistan

Delivery generally takes 10–12 working days from the date of processing, depending on the destination country and customs clearance procedures.

Please note that delivery times are estimates and cannot be guaranteed. Delays may occasionally occur during peak periods, public holidays, adverse weather conditions, or due to customs processing for international shipments.

For pre-order items, estimated delivery timelines will be communicated at the time of purchase.

Any applicable customs duties, taxes or import charges for international orders are the responsibility of the customer unless otherwise stated.

• Cash on Delivery (COD): PKR 650
• Prepaid / Online Payment (TCS): PKR 850

Delivery charges are non-refundable.

International Deliveries

International shipping charges are calculated at checkout based on your destination and order weight. All international orders are shipped via DHL. Delivery fees vary by country and will be shown before you complete your purchase.

Please note that any applicable customs duties, taxes, or import charges are the responsibility of the customer unless stated otherwise.

To preserve the beauty of your handcrafted garment, we recommend:

• Hand washing or using a gentle cold-water machine cycle
• Using a mild detergent
• Air drying in the shade
• Ironing on the reverse side of the fabric

These steps help protect delicate embroidery, mirror work and natural fabric finishes.

Yes. We accept exchanges on eligible items within 10–14 working days of delivery.
However, items must be:

• Unworn and unwashed
• In their original condition
• Returned with all tags attached

All returned items are inspected upon receipt. Any item found to be worn, washed, damaged or missing its original tags will not be eligible for exchange and will be returned to the original delivery address.

Please note that customised pieces cannot be exchanged unless they are faulty.

We do not offer refunds unless an item is found to be faulty.

If you are returning an item for exchange (for reasons other than a fault), you will be responsible for the return shipping costs.

Once your order has been processed and dispatched, it can no longer be cancelled. In this case, our Exchanges Policy will apply. Eligible items may be exchanged within 10–14 working days of delivery, provided they are returned unworn, unwashed, in their original condition and with all tags attached. Please note that customised pieces cannot be exchanged unless they are faulty.

Every Princess & The Cake piece is embroidered entirely by hand, meaning no two garments are ever exactly alike. Small variations are a hallmark of authentic craftsmanship and reflect the human touch behind each piece. These subtle differences are not imperfections—they are what make every garment uniquely yours.
